Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Lyndon Parkinson, I have been interested in photography for most of my life. My favorite subject is wildlife and nature, especially kingfisher's. And Kingfisher's are the main reason why i took up photography

The Kingfisher. I have a passion for these little birds. I have been photographing them for over 20 years! I remember taking my first photograph of one at the age of 10, and remembering being so disappointed when the photographs arrived, because all I managed to take was a mass of green tree’s and the smallest blue speck in the middle was my kingfisher.

Thankfully technology has improved since that day, and also my camera skills. When I plan to go out and get pictures of these wonderful birds, I know it is going to be a long wait. I can be sat by the river for 12 hours or more and not see it! However when you do finally get a picture, all those long, cold hours vanish from my memory.
